Sub - Contract Positions

 Truewest Solar periodically requires positions to be filled in the area of contracts, in particular with installations engagements. These positions are somewhat transient in nature, meaning they will be required as the contracts for installations are confirmed. The main geographic area of interest for TWS, is the Southwest of Saskatchewan in a 500 km radius around the city of Swift Current or beyond if needed. If you are willing and able to engage in an installation contract on call in any of these areas, please do provide us with your info. All information provided by you will remain secure and private, and will not be used for any other purpose except for the consideration of a agreement.

Licensed Electricians

This contract position requires licensed electricians possessing a valid license for the purpose of the installation, testing and commissioning renewable energy technologies solutions (RETS). Tasks will include the installation of off-grid and grid tie systems, connection of battery arrays, components, inverters, charge controls. AC/DC-sub-panels, isolation switches, transfer switches, safety switches, etc. or whole readily assembled power boards, integration with the grid, wiring and interconnection of solar arrays and wind turbines.

Heavy Equipment Operators

This position requires heavy equipment operators who also possess one or more heavy equipment such as back-hoe, bobcat, dump truck, cement mixer. Certification is optional, but recommended.

Tasks include: As a back-hoe operator, using various attachments to scoop and dump materials, dig trenches, load heavy materials and break rock or concrete, and the possible use of a front-end loader to pickup loads of earth, rock, sand, gravel and transfer/back-fill/etc. for the purpose of constructing tower foundations for wind turbines, and PV modules mounts (foundations for pole-mounted modules), and trenches for power transfer cables from the turbine(s)/ PV mounts to the power control centre (BOS). Depending upon the installation site, as a grade operator, leveling of the earth may be required.
