THERMAL SCREEN FABRIC

The Thermal Screen fabric acts like a vented mirror and can be used in both summer and winter to restrict the natural flow of heat into or out of a building.

This specially constructed fabric is designed to safely restrict the natural flow of solar and radiant heat energy by 60% to keep warmth inside homes in winter, and outside in summer. 40% diffused sunlight will pass through the fabric.

It also restricts the flow of wind outdoors by about 80%. It is very durable, UV resistant and guaranteed by the factory for at least four years when continually used outdoors,

It's made of a weaved, super tough high density polyethylene plastic that's coated with a thin, highly reflective  surface.

Summer:

On hot summer days, it will reflect most of the solar generated heat away from the building before it enters through windows or roofs. 40% diffused light still enters, but 60% of the heat is blocked. (placed as window screens outside or above windows, or as patio covers for sun shades).

Winter:

The most effective winter use is hanging it on the inside of windows or skylights, where 50% of a building's warm air is lost to the cold outdoors. Each closed room can stay 5-10 degrees warmer with this fabric in winter. It can be also as a temporary thermal shade cloth above a roof or greenhouse to reduce solar heat gain
