The SQ-FLEX System

WATER, WHEREVER WHATEVER

With the new SQFlex system, Grundfos can consolidate remote areas and pioneer further into new territories: Consolidating by upgrading older unreliable pump technology, and pioneering by providing more stable and low-maintenance pumping solutions.

In the middle of nowhere, the only things you can depend upon are air and daylight

The SQFlex pump is fully operational from only one or, for greater peace-of-mind, a combination of these below described energy sources. SQFlex Solar and Wind systems are reliable, low-maintenance and cost-effective. In addition, the systems are sustainable and environmental sound.

The SQFlex system succeeds where other pump systems seem to struggle by adapting to the characteristic weather profile of any given area. By analyzing such location in specific means only the most appropriate energy source will drive the system.

SQFLEX-SOLAR   (above)

Installing the SQFlex Solar requires no special tools as the Grundfos solar modules plug straight into the system. The SQFlex Solar is - once set up - inexpensive to run and virtually maintenance-free.
The GF 43 solar panel is of the amorphous silicon, thin-film type. The solar panel is equipped with plugs and sockets for easy connection of several panels. The solar panels must be mounted on a support structure, tilted at an angle ensuring optimum utilization of the solar energy.

SQFLEX-WIND

Equally cost-effective and easy to install, the SQFlex Wind is particularly suitable for open fields, valleys and landscapes where the wind blows constantly. The Windgenerator used by Grundfos is the Whisper 200 from Southwest Windpower.

SQ-FLEX COMBO

Two energy sources: solar modules for when the sun is shining; a wind turbine for when the wind is blowing. The added benefits of the SQFlex Combo are even greater reliability and water whenever it's needed.

BACK-UP option

Natural energy rarely runs low. If it ever does, both the SQFlex Solar and Wind systems can fall back on generator power or batteries.
