WHISPER-500 - 3 KW  A Classical Two Blade Design.

 

 

Today's wind turbines have mostly three-blade rotors despite the fact, that a well balanced two blade system is not only more economic it can also be more efficiant. The WISPER -500 is therefore a good example, and many owners love this elegant and simple machine.

This 3000watt turbine will deliver in excess of 500 KWH per month in a 12+ mph wind. She has a 15-foot (4.60m) rotor diameter providing 175 sq. ft. of swept area. The WISPER- 500 has been totally redesigned The machine features a hand-laid fiberglass and foam core blade for smooth, high efficiency operation and low wind start-up. 

It also incorporates the patented "angle governor" design for quiet operation in high winds, as all other whispers. This turbine is an excellent machine for village power projects, farms, ranches, back-up power and remote homes with larger energy demands. 

         

Standard with every WHISPER -500 wind turbine, comes the EZ-Wire Charge controller which is designed to control current from wind, solar and hydro charging sources to prevent battery overcharging. Excess power is diverted through a resistor bank that can be used for area heating.
